Advisor – Techno Hub
Appointed as an Advisor to the prestigious Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI) by Director Dr. G. Rameshwar Rao, I am responsible for establishing a world-class Technology Business Incubator focused on core engineering disciplines such as Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering. Additionally, I have been included as a stakeholder for the ‘Electric Vehicle Battery Recycling Engineer’ certification under the Automotive Course approved by NCVET, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) as part of the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF).
ESCI is a premier National Training Institute and an autonomous organ of the Institution of Engineers (IE-India), the nation’s largest and oldest multi-disciplinary professional body of engineers with centers across all states. It provides specialized training for Government Engineering Services, Public Sector Units (PSUs), and engineering corporations. With a focus on high-quality education and skill development, it empowers engineers and managers in the fields of engineering and techno-management. The institute is located in Gachibowli, Hyderabad.
Key Responsibilities:
– Establishing the ESCI Incubation Centre with a strong focus on core engineering disciplines.
Developing structured startup programs including pre-incubation, incubation, and acceleration cohorts.
– Building a robust mentor and investor network through collaborations with government, industry, and academia.
– Upgrading existing laboratories into Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to foster research and innovation.
Strategic Activities & Initiatives:
– Launch of ESCI Techno Hub by the Hon. President of India – Scheduled for the winter sojourn in 2025.
– Hosted Shri J. A. Chowdary (Ex-Special Chief Secretary / IT Advisor to the then CM of Andhra Pradesh) on March 4, 2024, to discuss ISF-2024.
– MoU signed on May 2, 2024, for hosting the International Startup Festival (ISF) 2024 at ESCI Hyderabad from September 26-28, 2024
