Dr. R. Hafeez Basha served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Technology Business Incubator (TBI) of the Chandigarh University, Mohali, Punjab where he reported directly to Prof. Parag Diwan, Vice Chancellor. The Incubation Centre was funded by Ministry of Science & Technology under the NIDHI-TBI scheme of the National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India. Chandigarh University was founded by Chancellor Shri. Satnam Singh Sandhu who was nominated by Prime Minister as the Member of Parliament – Rajya Sabha. It is approved by UGC & AICTE, accredited by NAAC with A+, awarded Diamond rating by QS I-GAUGE based on globally recognized QS World Rankings, NIRF Ranking of Top 51 in Manage-ment and Top 84 in Engineering in 2020.
Achievements:
- Established Rural Entrepreneurship Development Cell (R-EDC) supported by Mahatma Gandhi National Council for Rural Education (MGNCRE), Ministry of Education, Government of India under National Rural Entrepreneurship Mission.
- Organised World Conference at Paris, France during 17-18 December 2020 Chaired by Prof. Fady Fadel, Chancellor – American Business School of Paris and Plenary by Prof. Nilesh Arora, Director – University School of Business, Chandigarh University.
- Collaborated with Kuberan House (Indian Version of Shark Tank) start-ups backed by Actor Mr. Sonu Sood.
- Invited for Panel Discussion on Atmanirbhar Bharat by Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
- Invited for Panel Discussion on Entrepreneurship by Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT University), Odisha.
- Invited for Leadership Talk on Entrepreneurship by Guru Nanak University, Hyderabad, Telangana.
