Jury – Pride of Hyderabad

On the occasion of World Entrepreneurs’ Day 2024 Professor Dr. R. Hafeez Basha was felicitated at T-Hub, Government of Telangana during the Pride of Hyderabad SDG Leadership Awards on 20th August 2024. He was appointed as Jury Member under the category SDG-9 i.e. Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure that aims to build resilient infrastructure, promote sustainable industrialization and foster innovation. It is one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations General Assembly.

The event was supported by the Government of Telangana especially the Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Communication (ITE&C); Department of Youth Advancement, Tourism and Culture; Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and Telangana Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC).

Dr. Hafeez Basha led the delegation from Telangana to Tamil Nadu on 1st July 2024. They were hosted by Prof. Prabhu Rajagopal, Advisor – Centre for Innovation and Dr. Tamaswati Ghosh, CEO IIT Madras Innovation Cell who showcased their Startups & Innovations by students including Avishkar Hyperloop revolutionizing transportation that was entirely designed in-house at campus.

Hafeez Basha is appointed as Startup Evaluator & Mentor by Tamil Nadu Rural Incubator and Start-Up Enabler (TN-RISE) Women Startup Council under Tamil Nadu Rural Transformation Mission i.e. Vazhndhu Kattuvom Project, Government of Tamil Nadu which is funded by World Bank. TN-RISE Women Startup Council was launched on 2nd July 2024 at Hotel ITC Grand Chola by Thiru. Udhayanidhi Stalin, Hon.
