Dr. R. Hafeez Basha served as the Chief Executive Officer / Director for the Lords Technology Business Incubator (Lords TBI) and managed the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) and Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) at the Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology, an autonomous college affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad. The college was recognized as Host Institution (HI) and Lords TBI as Business Incubator (BI) by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India under the MSME Innovate Scheme.
Achievements:
- Hosted Shri. K. C. Choudhury, Assistant Director, MSME Development and Facilitation Office, Hyderabad (formerly SISI) during the Inspection conducted on 19th March 2021
- Organized Hackinnova 2021 a virtual hackathon during the lock down period on Discord Platform which was first-of-its-kind with 300+ students in the form of 30+ teams participating during 04-06 June 2021
- Maiden Cohort of 13+ start-ups launched by Mr. Saurabh Kumar the then Chief Executive Officer of GMR Aerospace Engineering & Air Cargo Ltd., Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), Hyderabad on 3rd July 2021
- Signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with T-Hub, Government of Telangana for the LaunchPad Program of T-Tribe to curate 50+ students on startups on 13th September 2021
- Lords Technology Business Incubator (Lords TBI) inaugurated by Shri. Col. B. Venkat the then Director of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Education, Government of India on 29th October 2021
- Established Institute Innovation Council (IIC), served as it’s President and implemented National Innovation & Start-up Policy (NISP) by Ministry of Education Innovation Cell (MIC), Government of India
- Got Institute ranked among Private Technical Institutions in Band Performer Category of Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA 2021) by Ministry of Education, Government of India

In addition to the above responsibility Dr. R. Hafeez Basha served as Dean for Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC); In-charge Dean Academics; Member Secretary, Academic Council and Member, Governing Body of the college. He assisted the Principal / Head of the Institution in preparing the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) required to be submitted to National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). During his tenure the college was accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade, courses by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and laboratories by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) for Industrial Consultancy, and Certified by International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The college was also conferred with Autonomous Status by UGC for 10 years from Academic Year 2021-22
Activities:
- Established the Telangana Chapter of International Network for Outcome Based Education (IN4OBE) a US based organization on 30th July 2021 which is the first and only chapter in India
- Organized a 3-Day National Level Workshop on “Teaching, Learning & Evaluation – An OBE Perspective” in association with IN4OBE during 05-07 November 2021 attended by faculty members.
- Organized an Invited Talk on “AICTE Quality Improvement Schemes (AQIS)” on 29th October 2021.
- Conducted Academic Audits, Performance Appraisals and Exam Question Paper Reviews
- Prepared Minutes of Meetings for Governing Body, Academic Council and other statutory bodies.

Dr. R. Hafeez Basha was also made Director – Foreign Relations where he was instrumental in establishing Lords International Center at campus facilitating students with study abroad opportunities. The centre was recognized as Nodal Center for IELTS by IDP Australia (facilitated MOU and Registrations at campus). He also facilitated direct admissions to foreign universities through their help desk / counselling at campus. The centre signed MOU with Lincoln University College, Malaysia for Ph. D & PDF opportunities to faculty members.
